Cedar Bluff School has a new Assistant Principal.
On Tuesday, the Cherokee County Board of Education voted to hire Jeff Walls for the job.
Walls replaces Kevin Porter, who was hired as the new Principal at Cedar Bluff last month.
Tuesday’s school board meeting was held at the Cherokee County Career and Technology Center and board members heard a presentation from Principal Brett Keasler.
He spoke about credentials earned by Career and Tech Center students last year and this fall.
Keasler then spoke about students in the Health Care, Automotive, Collision Repair, and Business Programs.
Superintendent Mitchell Guice says this is an exciting for technical education.
The next meeting of the Cherokee County Board of Education is set for January the 21st at 6 p.m. at the Central Office.
