Two people received minor injuries during a two-vehicle accident in Rome Thursday morning.
That accident, which left a Lexus SUV on its side, took place near the Martha Berry Square Mall when the SUV swerved in an attempt to avoid a Toyota 4-Runner.
The wreck occurred at around 10:45am and blocked the southbound lane of traffic for more than an hour.
