Centre is now home to the Colbert Law Firm with Cherokee County native Corey Colbert setting up the new practice.  Corey attended Gaylesville High School and Shorter College in Rome prior to attending the Jones School of Law at Faulkner University in Montgomery.

He told WEIS Radio that his intention all along was to return home to Cherokee County to set up his practice – we asked Corey what field he specializes in

Even though the doors have only been open for a few days, he’s already seen a number of clients and all indications are that he was well-justified in choosing to return to Cherokee County, where he and his fiancé are planning to make their home from now on.

When asked what he felt it took to be successful in his chosen profession – Corey’s answer was a simple one – “Help people out and be there for them when they need you.”
