No serious injuries were reported in a chain reaction wreck Tuesday afternoon that resulted in damage to four vehicles in the Alexis Community.
The incident occurred just after 2 p.m. on County Road 22 at County Road 86.
An older model Jaguar collided with a pickup truck, which was hauling a Dodge Neon on a flatbed trailer.
The impact caused the trailer to separate from the truck, coming to rest in the yard of a home on County Road 22.
The Neon was ejected from the trailer and collided with a Nissan, parked in the yard of the residence.
The only injury reported was a bump on the head sustained by the driver of the Jaguar, but she refused transport to the hospital.
No one else was hurt, including the homeowner who reportedly witnessed accident.
Alabama State Troopers, the McCord’s Fire Department and Cherokee EMS all responded to the scene.

A rather unusual auto accident occurring Tuesday afternoon left four vehicles damaged; however no one was seriously injured in the mishap.
That accident took place shortly after 2:00pm on County Road 22 in the Alexis community when a 2004 Jaguar, collided with a 2004 Chevy pickup truck – which was hauling a Dodge Neon on a flatbed trailer.
The impact caused the trailer to separate from the truck, and in turn, the Dodge Neon was ejected from the trailer striking a Nissan that was parked in the front yard of a home on County Road 22.
The only injury reported was a bump on the head of the driver of the Jaguar – who was identified as Geraldine Jordan of Centre; she refused transport to the hospital; the driver of the pickup, who was identified as Richard Hulsey of Mableton, Georgia – also escaped injury.
Alabama State Troopers, the McCord’s Fire Department and Cherokee EMS all responded to the scene.
