A Gadsden Police Officer was not hurt after his patrol car was struck by another vehicle on Friday.
Police say the vehicle hit the cruiser at Hoke Street and Litchfield Avenue.
A witness told officers that the vehicle sped up as it approached the cruiser, which then hit a utility pole.
Police say the driver and three of the four passengers ran from the collision.
They’ve identified the driver and plan to issue a felony warrant for his or her arrest.
Once again, the officer who was in the cruiser is OK and he is already back at work.
