Alabama State Troopers had a busy day in Cherokee County Friday, working three single-vehicle accidents. Luckily, none of which resulted in any injuries.

The first occurred at around 7:20 a.m. on County Road 24, just off County Road 19, and involved a 2004 Ford driven by Brandy Parker of Piedmont.

Initial reports indicated that wreck resulted in a downed power pole and power lines across the roadway.

The second wreck occurred at around 3:40 p.m. on County Road 16 and involved a 2000 Mercury driven by Tyler Garrett of Centre.

The third wreck was on Alabama Highway 273 at around 5:30 p.m. and involved a 1996 Toyota driven by Caitlin Rountree of Leesburg.

Once again, no one was injured in any of these accidents.
