Carol Denz and Nell Oliver stopped by the WEIS Radio studios on Friday morning to discuss the annual Tour of Homes, sponsored by the Women’s Club of Weiss Lake – that event is set for this Sunday (December 8th) from 1:00 – 4:00pm.
Four Homes in the Cedar Bluff area will be featured on the tour; those homes belong to Alan and Aimee Kilgo, Thomas and Noel Joiner, Ken and Leah Turner and Joey and Stephanie Weave and feature historical to present-day construction, with spectacular views of Weiss Lake.
There will be three other stops on the tour as well, including Cedar Bluff Town Hall, where there will be a brief stop for refreshments / the City’s newly-renovated police department / and, Upside Boutique/Parkway Music – which will feature a unique antique train display – and individualized jewelry made by the store’s owner, Suzanne Mohler.
Tickets will be $5.00 each and are on sale at each of the stops.
The Women’s Club uses proceeds from the tour to support its projects throughout the year – with all money going toward the club goal, which is to improve the quality of life in Cherokee County – primarily through education and food banks.
