Chattooga County Sheriff Mark Schrader reports the arrest of almost two dozen individuals, after a party was broken up during the early morning hours of Saturday (November 30th).

Sheriff’s Office Deputies responded to a report of a party with underage drinking taking place at a residence in the Haywood Valley area – where they placed a total of 23 people under arrest.  19 for underage possession/consumption of alcohol, three for furnishing alcohol to a minor, and one juvenile for underage possession/consumption of alcohol.

There were reportedly seven other individuals at the party who had not been drinking – and were not charged.

The investigation into the matter is on-going.
