Floyd County Police have now located a teenager reported missing on Friday afternoon.
Police say 14 year old Gwendolyn Isola, who lives in foster care in Smyrna, Georgia was visiting her great-grandparents in Rome, when she supposedly went to bed Thursday night around 9:30.
However, when they went upstairs to wake her up the following morning, she was gone.
Police put a lookout for the missing girl about 5:00pm Friday.
It was unknown if the teenager left on her own or was picked up by someone else.
She was later discovered in Polk County, Georgia, safe and uninjured; she was picked up by Polk County authorities acting on a tip from Floyd County Police.
The circumstances surrounding her departure from the home of her great-grandparents, has yet to be revealed.
