A Cherokee County man landed in the Floyd County Jail on Monday in connection with a break-in at a gas station near the Alabama/Georgia state line.
34 year old Centre resident Harley Ray Davidson, stands accused of entering the Chevron station at 2383 Gadsden Road near Cave Spring on June 24th of this year (2013) after shooting the glass door three times.
Once inside Davidson allegedly took approximately $500 – and eight cartons of cigarettes valued at more than $300.
He has been charged with Burglary 2nd Degree, Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Crime, and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon – all felonies. He was additionally charged with misdemeanor counts of Criminal Trespass and Theft by Taking.
