Two weekend fires caused a great deal of damage in Floyd County.
The warehouse at the intersection of Anderson and Howell Streets was completely destroyed in a Saturday afternoon blaze; Battalion Chief Gene Procter said that fire remains under investigation and there was no power or utilities connected to the building.
By the time firefighters arrived on the scene flames were already shooting through the roof of the structure and it took more than 20 firefighters to battle the blaze.
Investigators are also looking into a house fire at 511 North Avenue, in which, the home suffered considerable damage.
Three adults and one child reportedly made it safely out of the home.
According to Battalion Chief Greg Abbot, the power had been cut off and the family was making contact with relatives in an effort to find a place to stay.
