Cherokee County Chamber of Commerce Executive Director, Theresa Hulgan, along with Randy Rainey and Keith Tolbert from the Cherokee County Career & Tech Center paid a visit on Friday morning to the WEIS Radio studios.
The Cherokee County Robotics Team has had tremendous success over the past few years, and it appears big things are on the way in regard to new technology.
Rainey and Tolbert went on to share their enthusiasm on the new VEX Robotic Competition, and from a classroom point of view the skills that being involved in the Robotics Program will afford to those students participating. Rainey calls it a textbook example of how technology promotes a sense of teamwork combined with social skills.
Cherokee County High, Cedar Bluff, Gaylesville and Sand Rock schools all have students taking part in the VEX Robotics Team.
