Two men, one from Gaylesville, were arrested on drug charges following a traffic stop in Rome Sunday.
According to Floyd County Jail records, 22-year old James Brandon Spivey, of a County Road 60 address in Gaylesville, and 24-year old Daramis Deunte Stevenson of Callier Springs Road in Rome are charged with felony possession of methamphetamines and misdemeanor possession of a drug-related object.
Police stopped Stevenson and Spivey on U.S. 411/Cartersville Highway at 4 p.m. Sunday and found the two with syringes filled with suspected meth, scales, syringes and plastic baggies.
At last report, both men remained jailed without bond.
