Mr. Lester Green, 90 of Cedar Bluff, passed away Friday, November 8, 2013 at his residence.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 7 P.M. at the Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mark Cosby officiating. Interment will be Tuesday at 10 A.M. in the Cedar Bluff Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 P.M. Monday.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Cedar Bluff First Baptist Church or a favorite charity.

Survivors include his son, Gary (Brenda) Green of Cedar Bluff; grandson, Robby (Alisha) Green; great-grandson, Lucas Green.

Mr. Green was a native of Cherokee County, the son of the late Henry and Ida Samples Green, was a veteran of WWII, was retired from Alabama Power Co., and was a member of the Cedar Bluff First Baptist Church.

Pallbearers: James Roe, Bo Martin, Geral Greene, Vernon Womack, Hollis Neyman, Don Tankersley.

Honorary Pallbearers: Billy Ray Bedwell, Lynn Bruce, Blake Livingston.
