The Cherokee County Board of Education’s Tuesday night agenda included the election of a new Chairperson and Vice-Chair.
Lisa McKissick was re-elected as Chairperson – while Mark Gossett replaced Lynn Rochester, as the Vice-Chair.
In other business Additional Supplements were split between Christopher Smith for Football and Adam Careaga for Volleyball with each receiving $400, and in Classified Placement Tina Arnold was named In School Suspension Paraprofessional at Gaylesville School effective December 1st.
The board also approved School Advisory Councils; they accepted a Milk Service Bid, submitted by Mayfield Dairy Farms, LLC; and approved a contract with Pitts & Associates, for Counseling and Evaluations – to be funded by Special Ed.
