A single vehicle crash occurring Saturday morning, claimed the lives of two people – 72 year old Jeannie Lowery of Albertville and Lisa Simpson, age 52 of Duff, Tennessee.
According to a news release from the Alabama State Troopers both were fatally injured when the vehicle Lowery was driving, left the roadway, and struck a tree – Simpson was a passenger in the vehicle.
According to the accident reports neither individual was using a seat belt.
That wreck took place at 9:17am on Beulah Road approximately one mile east of Albertville, and the crash remains under investigation.
