Sara Bright with Cherokee Electric has informed WEIS Radio that there will be a planned power outage occurring this Wednesday between the hours of 8:00am and 2:00pm in order to perform a major upgrade to the system.

The area affected will include Highway 35 all the way to the Georgia State line, and that includes Farrill, Alpine Shores, Wildwood Cove, Lawrence, and both Waterhouse Campground & Ladd’s Campground.
