A Cedartown, Georgia man was booked into the Cherokee County Detention Center Friday, accused of sexually abusing a child.
According to the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office website, 25-year old Charles Edward McBurnett was taken into custody at 6:49 p.m.
McBurnett is charged with one count of Sexually Abusing a Child under the age of 12.
He remains jailed with bond set at 75-thousand dollars.
