In Girls Volleyball post season tournament play gets underway today. Spring Garden will be the host for 1A, Area 13 squads. The 4th ranked Lady Panthers take on Collinsville at 5:00pm while Cedar Bluff and Gaylesville square off in the other semi-final The winners then play for the area title. 2A, No. 5 Sand Rock will be playing at West End Walnut Grove. The Lady Cats open against Westbrook Christian at 5:00pm. The 6:00pm championship match will be against either Gaston or No. 3 West End.
In Class 3A Piedmont plays at Saks. The Lady Bulldogs are scheduled for a 5:00pm start against White Plains with a 6:30 championship match awaiting the winner.
Class 4A Cherokee County opens tournament play on Tuesday at Jacksonville.
