One of the area’s most highly-anticipated events takes place this Saturday (October 5th) – it’s the City of Centre Fall Festival.
This year’s event features all your favorites, including the Cherokee County High School Band, a line up filled with antique cars and tractors, first responder vehicles, horses, special floats and all the fun-filled events you’ve come to expect, including the 5K/10K/two-mile Health Walk, which starts at 8:00am, and is sponsored by the Cherokee County Family Resource Center – along with the Kids’ Fun Run at 9:30 that morning – and that’s just the start!
Centre Mayor Tony Wilkie issued a special invitation for everyone to attend
The parade gets underway at 10:30 that morning.
