Three Gadsden residents were arrested in Mentone, following a routine traffic stop performed by the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office K-9 Deputy.
One of the three occupants of the vehicle was found to be in possession of a controlled substance and a further search performed by the deputy and members of the drug task force – turned up two black bags containing sixty 10-gram bags of controlled substance and two boxes of blunt wraps.
39 year old Frederick Daniel Holt was placed under arrest, and charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, in addition to carrying a concealed weapon without a permit and using false identity to obstruct justice.
24 year old LeBrandon Marquet Sandridge and 33 year old Melody Jeanette Broadnax, were also arrested and charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance, the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and with carrying a concealed weapon without a permit.
In an unrelated incident, a traffic stop that same day led to the arrest of 21 year old Fyffe resident Jacob W. Gore on a charge of the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.
