Ft Payne Man Arrested on Drug Charges and Georgia Man Jailed After Breaking & Entering Call

John Henry UnderwoodOn Wednesday of this week (September 25th) a Ft Payne man was arrested on drug charges after a DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office Deputy went to serve a warrant on him.

44 year old John Henry Underwood was found to be in possession of drugs at the residence – and he was charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and a failure to appear warrant.

Juan Rico-CancholaIn an unrelated incident occurring that same day deputies responded to a breaking & entering call – and when they arrived at the residence – they were told by the homeowner, that the suspect had fled the scene.

While searching the area – deputies received a phone call, saying that the suspect had returned to the home

Deputies quickly returned to the scene, and placed 42 year old Juan Rico-Canchola from Omega, Georgia under arrest after he was found to be in possession of methamphetamine.

He was charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance, and the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.
