It was a rainy Saturday in Northeast Alabama, with much of that rain coming during the midday and afternoon hours.
Here at the WEIS Radio Studios we measured 1.32 inches of precipitation over the last 24 hours.
The weather will be much better for the next couple of days with sunny afternoons and clear nights in the forecast at least until Monday night. That’s when we could see a slight chance of evening showers.
The chance of rain increases to 40-percent for Tuesday and Tuesday night.
As far as temperatures go, they will be very comfortable.
The highs on Sunday and Monday in the upper 70s, inching up to near 80 on Wednesday.
Temperatures at night ranging from the low to mid 50s for Sunday night to the low 60s Tuesday and Wednesday night.
