Four people were hurt in a two-vehicle accident in Centre on Saturday (September 14th).
According to the Centre Police Department accident report that wreck occurred at 12:18pm at the intersection of the Chesnut Bypass and Bay Springs Road and it involved a 2010 Dodge Caravan being driven by 78 year old Saundra Herter, of Terre Haute, Indiana – and a 2012 Nissan Altima, driven by 32 year old George Dragojlovic.
The driver of the Nissan escaped injury however three passengers were hurt – Casey Dragojlovic and Georgine Dragojlovic were both taken to Gadsden Regional by Cherokee EMS – meanwhile, a small child in the vehicle was air-lifted to Children’s Hospital in Birmingham by Life Flight;
Ms. Herter, the driver of the Dodge Caravan – was taken by ambulance to Redmond Regional in Rome for treatment.
That accident remains under investigation.
