More than 100 people turned out in Geraldine recently to learn more about the State of Alabama’s new gun law.
Dekalb County Sheriff Jimmy Harris says there continues to be a great interest in the new law and his office is receiving many good questions about the subject.
Harris went on to thank Geraldine High School Principal Steven Street for allowing for the use of the school for the class, Commander Wade Hill for presenting the power point and District Attorney Mike O’Dell for assisting with the questions.
The next class will be at the Dogtown Fire hall this coming Thursday at 6pm.
Sheriff Harris says they are going to continue to hold similar sessions in every town in the County as long as the interest is there.
