The Foggy Hollow Bluegrass Band helped to kick off the 25th annual Leesburg Day Celebration on Saturday.
This was the 13th Leesburg Day for Mayor Ed Mackey, who announced the crowning of Miss Leesburg 2013 during the opening ceremony.
Mackey added that Virginia Agan was a great choice to represent the town as Miss Leesburg.
Of course, you couldn’t have asked for better weather for Saturday’s event which included various vendors and games.
There was also great food, along with inflatables and other attractions for the kids, antique tractors and classic cars.
In addition to the Foggy Hollow Bluegrass Band, Ronnie Kisor and Friends also entertained the crowds.
Prises were given away and the Leesburg Volunteer Fire Department was aon hand selling Boston Butts.
