A Piedmont man was injured in a one-vehicle accident early Sunday morning in Cherokee County.
According to reports from the Jacksonville Post of the Alabama State Patrol, 38-year old Stephen Michael Herring sustained injuries when he wrecked his 1998 Ford truck on County Road 29 at around 2:30 a.m.
Herring was the only occupant of the vehicle and the extent of his injuries are not known.
The accident remains under investigation by State Troopers.
