Mr. Jimmy Wayne Mobbs, age 59, of Gaylesville, AL, passed away Saturday August 31, 2013, He was born January 15, 1954, in Rome, GA, the son of Josie Battles Mobbs, and the late Richard Mobbs. He was employed with Florida Rock and preceded in death by his wife Shelia Diane McDonald Mobbs.

Survivors include his children, Kimberly Lee and Michael Mobbs, mother, Josie F. Mobbs, bothers, Jackie Mobbs, Marvin “Tuck” Mobbs, grandchildren, Jessica Wise, Emarie Lee, Kasi Lee, D.J. Lee.

Funeral service will be held 3:30 p.m. EST time Tuesday September 3, 2013 from the Mason Funeral Home Chapel with interment in the Weiss Lake Memorial Garden. Active pallbearers, B.J. Rich, Billy Carmon, Jacob McDonald, John McDonald, James Ray, David Hanks, Honorary pallbearer, James “Ronnie” McDonald.

Mr. Mobbs will be in state at the Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. EST time, Monday September 2, 2013.
