One person was hurt in a two vehicle wreck Thursday morning in Cherokee County.
According to Alabama State Trooper reports the crash took place just after 10:00am on Highway 9 South, and involved a 1993 Peterbilt, driven by Piedmont resident Paul Cole and a 1995 Chevy being driven by 19 year old Javier Holmes of a Boaz address.
Holmes was listed as receiving injuries in that accident – however, no additional information was immediately available.
The wreck remains under investigation by state troopers.
