Three people were hurt in a two-vehicle crash in Centre Tuesday morning.

That accident took place at 10:13am at the intersection of Northwood Drive and Warrior Drive – and involved a 1996 Buick, driven by 32 year old Belinda Hamilton of Cedar Bluff – and a 2002 Ford Ranger being driven by 25 year old Brandon Hynes, also of Cedar Bluff.

Both Hamilton and Hynes were injured, along with a passenger in the Hynes vehicle, 27 year old Tara Roberts of Centre.

All three were transported to Cherokee Medical Center for treatment – no additional information regarding the extent of their injuries was immediately available.

Those responding to the scene included: the Centre Police and Fire Departments, Cherokee EMS and the Cherokee County Rescue Squad.
