Anniston Police are investigating the Friday afternoon death of a four-month old child.
According to the Anniston Star, Police Sergeant Chris Sparks said additional information would be released at a later date.
Calhoun County Coroner Pat Brown said the child appeared to be a victim of heat exposure – he added that the child’s body was being sent to the Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences in Huntsville for an autopsy.
A preliminary autopsy report could be available as early as today (Monday, August 12th).
