Hokes Bluff Man Sentenced to 25 Years on Child Pornography Charges

ECSO - GreenAccording to information contained in a news release from District Attorney Jimmie Harp Hokes Bluff resident Jonathan Wesley Greene has been sentenced to a prison term of 25 years – after he pled guilty to possession of child pornography back in February (2013).

Sentence was passed by Circuit Judge Billy Ogletree on Wednesday of this week.

Prosecutors say Greene was charged with 14 counts – but had more than 1,500 images, and more than 50 videos depicting obscene material involving young children.

District Attorney Harp stated the investigation was a joint effort of the Etowah County Sheriff’s Office and the FBI – and that he was pleased with both the investigative work and the sentence.
