We are still awaiting additional details regarding a two-vehicle accident on Highway 68 at Cobia Bridge in Cedar Bluff Friday afternoon involving an SUV and a Cherokee EMS ambulance.
Initial indications are that two people in the SUV were injured.
The ambulance driver and one other also possibly sustained injuries.
The injured parties were all transported to an undisclosed hospital for treatment.
The extent of those injuries is unknown.
The wreck blocked both lanes of Highway 68 for close to an hour as crews worked to clear the wreckage.
