DeKalb County law enforcement officials made several drug arrests on July 27th and recovered a number of items of stolen merchandise.
Agents of the DeKalb County Drug Task Force and members of the Ft Payne Police Department executed a search warrant at a residence on County Road 1006 – that following numerous reports of suspected drug activity at the location.
Once agents gained entry to the home they found methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
Two stolen guns and three stolen four-wheelers were recovered at the scene – along with a trailer that had an altered VIN number.
Those arrested included: 40 year old Joshua Kilgro of Ft Payne, 32 year old Christina Ann Nix of Rainsville and 36 year old Claire McKeehan Davidson of Ft Payne.
Each was charged with the Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance, Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, two counts of Receiving Stolen Property 1st Degree, and with two counts of Receiving Stolen Property 2nd Degree.
Three children were at the home during the execution of that warrant – DHR later came and took the children into their care.
