Former Jacksonville State University head football coach Jack Crowe will be the moderator for an expert panel of doctors advocating youth sports injury prevention this Thursday (July 25th) beginning at 5:30 p.m., at Gadsden City High School.
Parents, coaches, athletes and health care providers are encouraged to attend this free event. That panel includes Butch Douthit M.D; Chris Kelley, M.D.; William Haller III, M.D. along with David Ellis, PT.
The topics will include heat illness, concussions and overuse injuries. The first 300 to arrive will receive a free T-shirt, and all attendees will be treated to a hot dog dinner. Those attending are encouraged to sign up prior to the event by visiting www.gadsdenregional.com
