Remember the idiots from the Home Alone movie that, as a “calling card”, left the water running each time they broke into a home?

Well – someone in Floyd County has taken that a step farther – by breaking into the Rome Social Security Office on Riverside Parkway and leaving the water running and on top of that they left a dead rabbit on the windowsill and tossed shredded paper around the property. 

Then again, maybe it was the disgruntled woman from Fatal Attraction.

According to Rome City Police reports, an employee arrived early Friday morning (July 19th), to find the bizarre scene.

The same facility has recently been hit by copper thieves who have cost the government office in the neighborhood of $6,000.

Needless the say – the matter remains under investigation.
