A pop up thunderstorm in Cedar Bluff Monday at around 6:30 p.m. brought brief heavy rains, but also provided residents with a unique site.

This has been a wetter than normal July in Northeast Alabama with around five inches of rain reported during the first couple of weeks alone.

The National Weather service is predicting mostly cloudy skies early on Tuesday, then gradually becoming sunny, with a high near 87.
Tuesday Night will be mostly clear, with a low around 68.
The next chance of rain isn’t until Wednesday.
