The Cherokee National’s 7 & 8 year olds are playing in the state tournament in Tuscaloosa.
They opened up on Friday night with an 8 to 5 loss to Dothan however on Saturday they defeated Crenshaw County by a score of 5 to 0; later that same day they won 9 to 7 over Monroe County.
The Cherokee National’s will be taking on a Mobile district team later today (Monday July 15th) at 5:00pm.
If they continue to win, they’ll have the opportunity to travel to South Carolina to take part in the District Championship.
