Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, June 29, 2013 at Glencoe-Hokes Bluff Chapel for Betty Brewster Moore, 78, of Hokes Bluff, who passed away June 27, 2013. Bro. Roy Thomas will officiate. Burial will follow at Shady Grove Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Humane Society or Davis Chapel.

The family will receive friends from 12:00PM to time of service Saturday at the funeral home.

Betty was a member of Davis Chapel United Methodist Church. When she was able, she loved taking care of her family and taking family and friends to run their errands. She enjoyed spending Sunday at church and cooking for all the grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her first husband; Julius Leon Brewster, and her second husband; J.D. Moore, her parents, twelve siblings, and stepson, Johnny Mack Moore.

She is survived by her son; Michael Brewster, daughter: Patricia (Mark) Spurling Sr., stepson; Bruce Moore, step daughters; Betty (Daniel) Wolfe, Carol (Danny) Conner, grandchildren; Nathan (Stephanie) Brewster, Mark (Hannah) Spurling Jr., and Michael Spurling; step grandchildren; Jonathan Wolfe, Jesse and Dillon Moore, John Keith Harris, Sherrie Harris, and Jeremy Harris, great grandchildren; Justis Brewster, Blaze Brewster, Alyssa Johnson, Maycee Spurling, several nieces, nephews, sisters-in-laws and special daughter-in-law; Diane Brown.

Pallbearers will be Hoyt McCain, Jason McCain, Bruce Moore, Charles Johnson, Robert Galbreath, and Bradley Kerr.

Honorary pallbearers will be Charles Forester, and Johnny Bailey.

Special thanks to all the staff at Amedisys Hospice, especially Lindsey and Loretta and all the Chaplains, God bless each and everyone.
