A young man from Cherokee County is about to embark on the adventure of a lifetime – during a recent meeting of the Cherokee County Commission he was presented with a resolution from the commission, with an introduction by Commission Chairman Kirk Day
Following the ceremony WEIS Radio News spoke with Shane and he told us that he was looking forward to all that lies ahead.
He attended the County Commission meeting in the company of his grandparents – Eddie and Carol Ray.
Shane will be leaving Cherokee County on June 26th, and will report to Annapolis the following day – we all wish him the best in his service career.
