Mrs. Haynie Lee Tidwell Lambert

Mrs. Haynie Lee Tidwell Lambert, age 88 of Centre, passed away Monday, June 10th at her residence.

Funeral services will be 11:30 AM Tuesday, June 11th at Ebenezer United Methodist Church, with Dr. George Cobb, Rev. Jim Hall and Rev. Tim Kendrick officiating. Interment will be held in Howell Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10 until 11:30 AM Tuesday at the church.

Pallbearers include Steve Garner, Richard Lindsey, Mike Price, Elbert St. Clair, Johnny Williams, and Bill Wood. Honorary Pallbearers include John Hopkins, Johnny Brown, James and Ann Holcomb, Dr. James Collins and staff.

Survivors include nieces, Emily (Scott) Bolton of Cedar Bluff, Ann Miller of Cedar Bluff; nephew, Brent Tidwell of Centre; sister, Earleen Reese of Cedar Bluff; cousins, Wanda St. Clair of Sand Rock, and John Hopkins of Centre; special friends, Rose Doss, Rebecca Brown, Mattie Hale, Rebecca Doss, and Chris McCord.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Tidwell; sister, Hazel Tidwell; sister-in-law, Christine Tidwell; cousin, Millidean Byram.

Mrs. Lambert was a native of Cherokee County, the daughter of the late Luther Lee & Ethel Tidwell and was a member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church.

Memorials may be made to Ebenezer United Methodist Church or Howell cemetery.
