WEIS Radio has been informed by Cherokee County Republican Party Chairman John Ellis, that Circuit Judge Jeremy Taylor & District Attorney Mike O’Dell are changing their party affiliation to the Republican Party.
Mr. O’Dell has been accepted by the DeKalb Republican Party, meanwhile the Cherokee County Republican Executive Committee has welcomed Judge Taylor into the GOP.
Mr. Ellis stated that both gentleman have served the public well and the Republican Party is both proud of, and humbled by their decision; a press conference with both state and local Republican elected and Party officials will be held at a later date.
