Donald Eugene Barnes, age 51 of Centre, passed away Saturday, June 8th at Cherokee Medical Center.

Funeral services will be 3:PM Monday, June 10th at Perry Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Derrick Roberts and Rev. Terry Hawkins officiating; burial will follow in Unity Cemetery.The family will receive friends from 1 until 3:PM Monday.

Pallbearers include Adam Mobbs, Ricky Dutton, Chris White, Terry Barnes, Travis Barnes and Larry Teague.

Survivors include his wife, Ollie M. Norton Barnes; mother, Edna Barnes of Centre; sisters, Wanda (Lester) McDaniel of Centre, Glenda Hunter of Centre and Darlene (Allen) Hale of Centre; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces & nephews.

Mr. Barnes was a native of Cherokee County and was the son of the late Roy Barnes.
