A 50 year old Gadsden man has been arrested in connection with the recent burglary taking place at a Lay Springs Road address.

Frank Brogan was arrested Wednesday (May 29th), and charged with one count of burglary third degree and one count of second degree theft of property – both of which are felonies.

According to information from Etowah County Sheriff Todd Entrekin, Brogan allegedly broke in to the home – and he admitted to investigators that he was looking for prescription medications.

Officers received a phone call from an alert neighbor stating the suspicious activity.

Brogan was booked into the Etowah County Detention Center and is being held on $5,000 bond.
