A 19 year old Attalla man, was recently found by Etowah County Sheriff’s Office Deputies to be in possession of a 12-gauge shotgun, two laptop computers, a variety of jewelry – and an array of clothing items.
The only problem was – the stuff didn’t belong to him.
Dillion Ray Oliver was arrested on charges of third degree burglary, first degree theft of property and second degree theft of property – all felonies; and, just for good measure, he managed to add one count of resisting arrest.
Oliver was arrested in connection with the burglary of a home in the Carlisle community after he was seen leaving the Walter’s Road residence by a neighbor who reported the suspicious activity to law enforcement.
He is currently being detained in the Etowah County Detention Center on bond of $10,500.
