Robert Eugene Johnson, age 83 of Centre, passed away Monday, May 27th at Cherokee Medical Center.
Memorial service will be 1:PM Thursday, May 30th at Perry Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. John Redding officiating.
Survivors include wife, Gail Canter Johnson; sons, Robert Johnson, Jr. of Leesburg, Neil Johnson of Leesburg; daughters, Paula Lang of Gadsden, Janna (Michael) Davis of Homewood and Beth Kilburn of Roswell, GA; step-children, Keith Jordan of Centre, Jeffrey Jordan of Centre, Johnny Jordan of Ft. Payne, David Jordan of Dogtown, Tambron Barnwell of Jacksonville and Jennifer Tidwell of Piedmont; brother, Jerry (Marzette) Johnson of Gadsden; 4 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren.
Mr. Johnson was a native of Hamilton County, TN, the son of the late Jobe & Marie Cook Johnson and was of the Baptist faith.
