FREE Concert at Gadsden State Cherokee – May 30th

Gadsden State Cherokee will be kicking-off the series of FREE Outdoor Music Concerts, entitled “Lyrics on the Lawn” on Thursday (May 30th) with popular bluegrass/gospel group the Bailey’s.

The family group hails from Sand Rock, and they’ve been appearing at churches and festivals for more than a decade.

The band consists of parents Barry and Jill, and sons James Paul, Wiley and Cliff Bailey.

Both parents are retired educators from Cherokee County; the eldest son, James Paul, is a teacher at Cherokee County High School; twin sons Cliff and Wiley are students at Auburn University.

Everyone is invited to come out, and bring along a lawn chair and spread out your food and non-alcoholic beverages for an evening of quality entertainment FREE of charge.

Venue opens at 6:00pm – concert begins at 6:30.

Future dates of performances are June 27th, July 25th and August 29th – with the musical acts to be named later.
