Glencoe Man Survives Collission With Train

train -truck collission

A Glencoe man is lucky to be alive tonight after a train hit his truck Friday on Keysburg Road, near the intersection of Highway 431.

Witnesses say Joshua Moore, who lives on that road, actually stopped at the stop sign before proceeding in front of the train.

Police say the train carried the truck 500 feet before it could stop and Moore was able to get himself out of the truck.

Police Chief Jonathan Horton says the man was treated and released from a local hospital after only suffering a few bruises.
