A young child was taken to Cherokee Medical Center to be checked out Thursday afternoon after reportedly falling out of a car door, into the parking lot of the Grub Mart in Centre.
The incident occurred at around 5:30pm.
It’s unclear what led to the child apparently falling out of the vehicle door and being shaken up – at this point we understand no charges have been filed in connection with the incident – however the matter is still under investigation by the Centre Police Department.
