Wendell R. Culberson, age 72 of Centre, passed away Thursday, May 2nd at his residence.
Funeral services will be 1:PM Saturday, May 4th at Perry Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Greg Locklear officiating; burial will follow in Unity Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11 until 1:PM Saturday.
Pallbearers include Michael Peace, Brock Peace, Dusty Peace, Cole Peace, Jamie Burt, Jeremy Burt, Jamey Walker, Kevin Atkins, Johnny Puckett, Desi Culberson, Dean Monteith, Lamar Varner, Jim Culberson, Daniel Culberson.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Cherokee Home Health and Hospice.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Peace Culberson; sons, Gerald (Thelma) Culberson of Calhoun Co., Scott (Tina) Culberson of Calhoun Co.; daughters, Penny (Adam) Cochran of Centre, Tammy (Dan) Leonard of Chatsworth, GA; brother, Woody (Becky) Culberson of Rome, GA; sister, Vivian Varner of Rome, GA; 13 grandchildren; many nieces, nephews & friends.
He was preceded in death by brothers, Billy Culberson, Clinton Culberson; sister, Jewel Monteith.
Mr. Culberson was a native of Floyd County, GA, the son of the late, William B. and Ida Morrow Culberson and was of the Baptist faith.
